The Independent Living Program & Children’s Administration hosted Passages 2018, an annual event celebrating the accomplishments of youth in foster care who are either graduating high school or completing their GED. Graduates shared their accomplishments, their post-secondary plans and acknowledged those in attendance who had supported them. The evening was full of food, fun, prizes, tears and laughter! I joined the fun with Donna LaFrance from Children’s Administration, and Salvation Army Captain Lisa Barnes.
