Foster Alum Serves and Empowers

I had the pleasure of accompanying Jamerika Haynes, foster alum, advocate, and currently Ms. Evergreen, to Treehouse where she presented them with Miss Jessie’s curly hair products needed by many ethnic girls in foster care.
(Jamerika is Ms. Evergreen State 2018 through the USA Ambassador Pageant. Her service platform is ‘A Chance to Succeed: Empowering Youth in Foster Care.’ In July, Jamerika will travel to Tampa, FL to compete in the National USA Ambassador Pageant.)
