I’m aging out of foster care and all I want for Christmas is a Birthday Party!
Sadly, many girls aging out of foster care have never experienced the joy of a birthday party, and turning 18 has not been a time to celebrate but rather a time of uncertainty and anxiety, without clear direction or support.

At Celebrate 18! 100 young ladies turning 18 and aging out of foster care will attend this special birthday party and receive a new outfit, makeup, and a manicure; a wheeled duffel bag, a swag bag, a journal and a Celebrate 18! t-shirt. Employers will be in attendance offering immediate employment, and training centers and schools will be available to accept applications. We’ll have a catered dinner complete with the traditional Happy Birthday song and cake, and testimonials from foster alum.
